ABOUT RAP SYSTEMS

RAP Systems pipes are a tackle investment that you can take with you from boat to boat just like your fishing poles. We have found through the last few years that so many of our customers share the same stories of how difficult it is to fight these large fish down on their knees. We created a fulcrum point to help every angler young and old to catch the fish of their lifetime.

We chose 1-1/2 inch T316 marine grade stainless steel tubing for our pipes because of its strength and durability in the marine environment. Each pipe is handmade, not factory-built to ensure that each top is tuned before it is sold. We mandrel bend each pipe to a specific degree and notch the bottoms so they fit into the rod holder and lock into place securely. Our top U-shaped saddle is made from a 1/2 inch solid stainless round bar so it will never bend and is mirror polished to assure your line will not get frayed if it touches it. The tops of our pipes are milled from 1-1/2 inch solid stainless round bar and then center drilled to allow the U saddle to be fitted. The top is then welded to the top of the pipe and the weld is ground smooth.

The pipes are then sent to the polishers where they are polished to a mirror quality. Care for our product is very simple, just rinse with soap and water after use and towel dry. It is recommended that you apply a coat of wax every season to protect the surfaces.

If your gunnels are hitting you from your knees to your thighs, this is the pipe for you. Our 15 degree Tall Boy pipe fits into your 15 degree rod holder and will come straight up 21-22 inches depending on pin depth. Ideal for both conventional and spinning rod outfits. Our ( patent pending ) U shaped saddle allows your rod to rest comfortably into it giving you the advantage of resting your forearms and gaining line.

0 Degree Tall Boy Pipe

It's the perfect tool for low gunnel boats that need that extra height to bring the fulcrum point up to the anglers advantage. If your gunnels hit you from your thighs to your knees, this is the right pipe for your application. Fits perfectly into a zero degree straight rod holder. Measuring in at a total of 31 inches, this pipe will come up out of the rod holder a minimum of 21 inches (based on 10 inch deep rod holder). Ideal for both conventional and spinning rod outfits.

Tall Boy 30 Degree Pipe

Specifically built for low gunnel boats that need that extra height to bring the proper fulcrum point to the angler. If your boats gunnels hit you from your thighs to your knees this is the right pipe for your application. Ideal for both conventional and spinning rods. Coming up 21 inches out of the rod holder (based on a 10 inch deep rod holder) to the U shaped saddle, this pipe is a must have for Contender, Makos, Parkers, SteigerCraft and many other skiffs and center consoles that are too low for our standard series pipes.

Primarily used in a 15 degree rod holder. This pipe is very popular for the thigh to waist high cap rail center console boats and sportfishers that have 15 degree rod holders. Also used on other center console boats that offer 15 degree rod holders up forward of the console. Ideal for both conventional and spinning rod outfits.
